Sometimes, and probably more often, I’m not so cute. I like to make quite unattractive faces, especially when Daddy is feeding me. I don’t even know why I’m posting these terrible pictures. Man my head looks fat!

Happy mornings
We’ve found that Kayli is the most awake and happiest in the mornings. She likes to make lots of faces, so Dad snapped some pics this morning after a good feeding. Most of the time, her expressions are pretty weird and unattractive, but we’ll save those pictures for another day.

Day 13 – lots of feeding
It’s been almost 2 weeks, and Kayli is now on a pretty consistent, but crazy, feeding schedule. Every 3 hours, we wake her up to feed, which takes almost an hour and a half. Luckily, she’s generally a happy and sleepy baby on a full stomach!

1 Week Old!
On Wednesday I turned 1 week old. The first week has been hard. I have jaundice, lost weight all the way down to 5 pounds 5 ounces, and had to get my blood drawn 3 times. I’m doing a lot better now though and gained back 6 ounces. Mommy and Daddy feed me so much stuff now that always fall asleep eating, and I needed 16 diaper changes yesterday! Yea even I think 16 is ridiculous, but hey, I really like to go in clean diapers. I think I ate too much this morning, and so I ended up projectile vomitting all over Daddy. Time to sleep again!

On Friday I came home from the hospital. Home is so much more fun! I met lots of furry friends — some of them are about my size, and some are bigger than Mommy and Daddy! I play with them all the time and they watch over me when I’m sleeping.

Hello world! I was born on January 14, 2015 at 6:08am. I measured 17.5 inches and weighed 6 pounds, 3 ounces. I know, I’m huge! On my first day of life, I pooped 7 times and got it all over Daddy’s hands, and then I kept Mommy up all night. Yup I’m the best!
