Yesterday I turned 2 months old! We drove for an hour to Arcadia and ate Sinbala, one of Mommy and Daddy’s favorite places. It was 95 degrees and it’s still winter. I think I like it hot, but Daddy was sweating like crazy. Then I met my great grandma, Tai Nai Nai, and I got more lucky money that Mommy and Daddy said they will use to buy bobas instead of saving it for my college fund. Back at home, we did a quick photo session for my birthday and I was pretty happy!

Weirdo Kayli seems to really like diaper changes. We get the most smiles from her during this time. She also loves to pee when her diaper is off and poop into fresh diapers. We now lovingly refer to her as Kayli Poo.

I survived (or Mommy and Daddy survived) the first weekend with no help from grandmas. We went out to lunch both on Saturday and Sunday, and I was (kind of) good and slept! When we got back home though, I demanded to be held all the time.

A couple of weeks ago, I turned 1 month old!!! To celebrate, Mommy, Daddy and I all wore stupid hats. They also got me a red velvet bundt cake that they stuck in front of my face for like 10 minutes while taking pictures, and then they ate the whole thing! I only got a hint of the taste in the form of milk a few hours later.

Mommy and Daddy are the best. They feed, change, bathe and play with me even though I cry and scream all the time, scratch them with my sharp nails, and pee and poo while they are changing my diapers.

Our child is so weird. She makes so many strange faces and noises. Here are a few of her recent, more normal and pleasant faces.

My other grandma has been visiting for the last couple weeks and I like it when she feeds me and holds me. I’m much more comfy and I don’t feel like I’m going to fall on my head, like when Daddy holds me.

On Sunday, I went on my first outing that wasn’t to the doctor’s. We all went to Cha for Tea, one of Mommy and Daddy’s favorite places. For some reason though, all I remember was getting in the car, and then waking up at home.
