Yosemite!

We got to skip 2 days of school to go to Yosemite! The first thing we learned was that we hate long car rides and that Meimei gets carsick in windy car rides. When we finally got there though it was awesome! We got to sleep in a cabin tent and had to put all our food in a locker so the bears wouldn’t get it. We saw a huge waterfall and ate tons of pizza.

We saw a deer as soon as we got there! This guy stayed around eating stuff for a long time.

It rained the first day. Daddy gave us our own cameras that we used to take bad pictures!

We loved climbing logs, but not as high as Daddy!

We decided to take our naps like this. We do strange things sometimes.

After sleeping for 2 hours, we are still sleepy.

The beach!

Many years ago, Kayli did not like the beach. She was scared of the water and of the sand, so she could only sit on a blanket. So, we didn’t go to the beach anymore. After a couple years, Mommy and Daddy decided to try going again, and… we loved it! It was freezing cold and super cloudy, but we loved the beach! Maybe Hawaii will actually be fun!

We got to the beach early to get good parking. It was cold and foggy, but we were still excited. Leia was very excited!

We were scared of getting washed away into the ocean at first but then we LOVED getting our feet wet in the cold cold water!
