Vancouver Part 2

The next day was Sunday and I was feeling pretty good. We went to a park with huge trees, and we walked on bridges up high between the trees! And we ate snacks! There were lots of people from different countries, and I said hi to all of them! Most of them smiled and said hi back.

After the park I slept for like 2 hours in the car! Oh yea we had a minivan, it was huge! I think Mommy and Daddy just drove around eating lots of food while I slept… sad, because I love food! But when I woke up I got to eat poutine! I love poutine! Oh yea if you haven’t noticed, I’m really good at smiling for the camera now.

The entrance to Capilano Park has a whole bunch totem poles. Totem poles are super scary! I had to look down and make Mommy carry me until I was at least 1000 feet away.

Yes, snack time again! Hi Daddy.

Your smile here is better, Mommy, but still needs to be bigger.

Daddy carried me back across the big suspension bridge because Mommy was tired of carrying me.

Vancouver Part 1

Last month, we went on vacation to Vancouver! Did you know that I had to get a passport to go to Vancouver, and that you have to make an appointment to get your passport months in advance, and that I also had to stay still to get my passport picture taken?

Ok anyways, I flew on a plane for 2 hours! And because our flight got delayed, I had already taken my nap and was nice and hyper! Have you ever been on a flight where there’s a baby who’s always yelling and crying and moving and kicking the seat of the person in front? I haven’t!

Once we got to Vancouver, we went straight to Mommy’s second favorite Laksa restaurant, Laksa King! As soon as we got in, I barfed all over Mommy! And then over the next hour I barfed four more times, mostly all over Mommy again! Luckily, our hotel room had a laundry machine, and the next day I was ok. Here are some pics from our first day. Sorry, no barf pics.

Run run run! This is my Rocky workout outfit. After this run I ate a lot of snacks. Oh man I love snacks even more than running.

Mommy you are not smiling enough.

Happy Hollow!

A few weeks ago, I went to Happy Hollow in San Jose! I got to ride on a really slow moving train, after waiting in line for like 9 hours (actually 25 minutes). I’m the worst at waiting in line. Mommy and Daddy decided that Disneyland is a terrible idea, and I have no idea what Disneyland is, but if I have to wait in lines it sounds like a bad bad place.

Lunch time with Auntie Connie and Uncle John and Hazel! Everyone kept talking about Lee's and sandwiches and laughing, but I didn't think it was funny.

I prefer to sit in Mommy's lap. Second would be Nainai... or Boba. Daddy is around fifth, Auntie Connie is somewhere between the teens and whatever rank a random stranger is. She's growing on me though, slowly.

Goats... are kinda scary, but not as scary as dogs. Over time I have developed a greater and greater, healthy yet slightly ridiculous fear of all animals.

I still love to do this chicken! And here I did it in front of chickens!
