I eat solids 3 times a day now! I now probably spend 14 hours a day sleeping, 4 hours eating, 3 hours playing, 1 hour crawling, and 2 hours waving my arms frantically.

I’ve been getting to eat more solid foods! Sometimes Mommy gives me whole pieces of fruit and vegetables. I try to put them in my mouth and get about 25% in. Pretty good huh? The rest gets smashed on my face, my hands, on the tray, around my butt, or on the ground. Here are some videos of me eating carrots at Mendocino Farms, and trying egg yolk for the first time at home!

Last week I turned 8 months. I wasn’t my usual crazy happy Kayli that day. Mommy and Daddy and I walked all the way over to a park to take 8 month pictures, but I was not in the mood.

Last weekend I took another trip to the bay area. I went all over the place — San Jose, Foster City, Lafayette, and Berkeley!
I love the stand-up-and-let-go game! I have buff legs, but not the best balance. I think I can stand up by myself soon!

Here are some recent random pics. I don’t know why sometimes I post embarrassing pics of myself!

I had a happy weekend. I didn’t really do anything or go anywhere super fun or interesting, but I had lots of fun doing nothing with Mommy and Daddy. Here’s a video of me laughing for no good reason.

On August 14, I turned 7 months old! Rounded up, that’s a whole year. I’m super good at grabbing, sitting, crawling, standing, and flipping over from my back to my stomach during diaper changes. I can do it in a split second.
Mommy and Daddy got me some new blocks with funny shapes. I’m supposed to put them into some holes in a box, but I like it better when Daddy throws them in the air! He claims he’s juggling but I think you’re supposed to catch the balls when you’re juggling.

I don’t really like being in my carseat. It restricts my movement, and if you know me at all, I LIKE TO MOVE. Mommy and Daddy installed mirrors so they can look at me in my carseat. Sometimes they turn around and do funny things, which is super fun, though I am slightly concerned that we are going to crash.
