8 Month Grumpy Kayli

Last week I turned 8 months. I wasn’t my usual crazy happy Kayli that day. Mommy and Daddy and I walked all the way over to a park to take 8 month pictures, but I was not in the mood.

Norcal Trip!

Last weekend I took another trip to the bay area. I went all over the place — San Jose, Foster City, Lafayette, and Berkeley!

I hung out with my aunties, uncles and cousins. They are all bigger than me.

Ellie is only 2 weeks younger than me! We like putting things in our mouths.

7 Months!

On August 14, I turned 7 months old! Rounded up, that’s a whole year. I’m super good at grabbing, sitting, crawling, standing, and flipping over from my back to my stomach during diaper changes. I can do it in a split second.

I'm super good at grabbing anything and everything within arms length, and them putting the items into my mouth! EXCEPT for those darn puffs! Mommy and Daddy got me some new blocks with funny shapes. I’m supposed to put them into some holes in a box, but I like it better when Daddy throws them in the air! He claims he’s juggling but I think you’re supposed to catch the balls when you’re juggling.

Fun in my carseat

I don’t really like being in my carseat. It restricts my movement, and if you know me at all, I LIKE TO MOVE. Mommy and Daddy installed mirrors so they can look at me in my carseat. Sometimes they turn around and do funny things, which is super fun, though I am slightly concerned that we are going to crash.

At 6 months old I started to do a weirdo funny crawl! Daddy calls it an earthworm crawl, and Mommy calls it a walrus crawl. I don’t know which is better, but… its super fun! I have blisters on my feet from crawling so much!
