Softball!

We have not posted in a long time. Our website had some problems and Daddy finally fixed them, so hopefully the posts will continue. A lot of stuff happened in the last year! This first post is about softball. We both started softball last Spring. Kayli was on the 8U Panthers, and Leia on the 6U Puppies. Our uniforms almost match!

We also got to go watch a Stanford softball game! And by watch, we mostly just ran around outside eating candy and rolling down hills.

Socal Trip Part 2

At first, we were supposed to go to Disneyland, but then all the tickets were sold out! So we decided to go to Legoland instead. Then Mommy tried refreshing the webpage every 5 minutes for hours and eventually got tickets! And then Leia cried and cried because she wanted to go to Legoland…. We had a good day at Disneyland though. Lots of rides and food. Mommy and Daddy were a little upset that our favorite food was Lay’s potato chips. Oh well. Next time we will go to Legoland!

Kayli and Daddy went on Space Mountain! And it was super fun! — We are tall enough to go on Space Mountain! And it was super fun! Well Kayli thought so at least.

We got to go on a free balloon ride at the Irvine Great Park. This city is great. Mommy and Daddy want to move back here.

Socal Trip Part 1

During our fall break we drove to Socal and went to Harry Potter World in Universal Studios and Disneyland! We got super cool wands that you could use to cast spells all around Hogsmeade. We stayed in five different hotels! Here is the first part, Harry Potter World!

Our first stop was Olivander's where Leia got Harry's wand and Kayli got Hermione's. We tried some frozen butterbeer because it was a hot day.

Hogwarts! Only Daddy went on the ride inside because we are too short and Mommy gets too motion sick.

Leia ate so much cotton candy that Kayli was concerned she might die.

Portland Road Trip: Part 5

The last few days of our trip were good. We went to an awesome bookstore and bought some books. On our way home we stopped in Bend, Mt. Shasta, and Fairfield. It started to get super hot, but we missed the heatwave in Portland and at home. We are great at road trips, as long as we have Harry Potter audiobooks, iPads, snacks and stop a ton.

In Bend, we explored this super dark lava cave where it was freezing cold and we had to use flashlights to see anything!

In Mt Shasta we got to stay in a super cool hotel with a hammock right in the middle of the room!!!

Finally on our last day, we went to a kind of boring town called Fairfield but there was a Jelly Belly factory!

Portland Road Trip: Part 4

We stayed in Portland for four days. The first day was tons and tons of hiking. We did the longest and highest hike we’ve ever done, Multnomah Falls! We were really tired after 15 mins, but then Mommy and Daddy bribed us to go to the top. It was a good bribe that gave us tons of energy, and we raced to the top. The next day, we drove really far to eat some cheese.

This was the Multnomah Falls bridge that was pretty easy to get to, but we had to go another 2 miles!

Mommy and Daddy bribed us to hike to the top with $15 worth of gift store stuff, EACH! After that we ran all the way up without stopping!

One more pic on the way back down, and then we each got TWO TOYS from the store!

We said we would never hike again, but then Mommy and Daddy made us do ANOTHER one on the same day! This is Horseshoe Falls and we got to go behind it!

Leia complained a lot, but she liked the cheese van.

Portland Road Trip: Part 3

We made it to Oregon the next day and stopped in Eugene. We got to listen to some live music at their Saturday Market, got our nails painted, and of course, played at a park while Mommy and Daddy got boba. That was our last stop before finally making it to Portland!

We stopped in Eugene where there was a cool market and these guys painted our nails! We stayed soooo still.

We wanted a donut but just ate lots of junk food so we took these pictures instead.

Portland Road Trip: Part 2

The next day, we went on a short hike to a beautiful waterfall called Burney Falls! It was probably the best we’ve ever seen, and it was a very short hike too. We had lots of time so we went back toward our hotel in Burney, had a yummy lunch with lots of fried food, and then went bowling!

We kept doing funny things and Daddy took funny pictures. Mommy tried to hide from the pictures.

It was really fun! Kayli looks a little crazy with her missing teeth.

And a nice picture in front of the beautiful waterfall!

It was a short hike, so afterwards we had a yummy lunch and then we went bowling!!

Portland Road Trip: Part 1

As soon as we got out of the last day of school, we went on a road trip to Portland! Since we are not good at long car rides, Mommy and Daddy decided to drive only a little bit each day, so it took us 4 days to get there! We stopped at a lot of places, slept a lot in the car, listened to two whole Harry Potter books, and ate sooooo many snacks.

We slept a lot in the car. We got to the hotel at 11pm and went right back to sleep!

Our first stop was Lassen Volcanic National Park. It's the worst park ever. There is no playground and it stinks. There were also boring hikes. This one went to a cold boiling lake that was not very interesting. All the sad trees were burned.

Then we drove to our next hotel that had twin beds!!

Leia’s belated birthday

Leia turned 5 a long time ago in March. We had a Harry Potter themed birthday party… with Paw Patrol too!

Leia had a pound cake for her birthday, which is also the only cake that Kayli likes!

Ski Trip Part 2!

We had a lot of fun on the second day and got way better at skiing! We even got to go on the slope with jumps and tricks, and were pretty good at skiing around them. It was so hot, we don’t know how the snow didn’t all melt. We didn’t wear any jackets or goggles, and sunburned our faces and eyes. Can’t wait to go back!

We stopped by Fairytale Land in Sacramento on the way back. Daddy sneezed a lot.
